Hatha YogaClasses

Welcome to our new Hatha Yoga classes at Chatsworth Hall!
Our Hatha Yoga classes consist of a short breathing mindfulness exercise, as well as standing and seated postures. This strengthens, cleanses and relaxes your body and mind. All classes have a final relaxation pose. Each class is based on the same approach – taking you in and out of postures correctly and safely using the breath to achieve many healing benefits, including:

• improved muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina;
• increased blood circulation due to controlled breath and movement;
• reduced stress and tension;
• improved mental balance, intuition, creativity and concentration; and
• enhanced detoxification and stronger immune system.

With over 20-years teaching experience you will be offered variations to suit your fitness level and health requirements. Over 55’s as well as pre and post-natal students are welcome.

Monthly Wellness Workshop – Rest and Recharge

Starting August 2024, I am excited to introduce our monthly Saturday Wellness Workshops aimed at helping you rejuvenate and unwind from the week’s stresses.

Join us on Saturday 31 August for a two-hour session featuring:

• Gentle Yin Yoga: Deep stretches to release tension and enhance flexibility.
• “Better Me” Journaling: Reflective writing exercises to promote mindfulness and self-awareness.
• Reiki Inspired: Meditation for relaxation and inner balance.
• Nourishing Sound Healing: Calming sounds to harmonise your body and mind.

Your experienced teachers and guides are Jen Thomas and Sofija Vracar.

Bring along a mat, blanket, pillow and water bottle. Personal journal and pen, as well as additional equipment provided.
